Norman Busciglio, D.V.M.
(Owner/Veterinarian)

Dr. Busciglio was born and raised in the Tampa area. He has been in the animal industry since he was young boy working on his family farm. Dr. Busciglio graduated from St. Leo college with his bachelors degree before moving on to the University of Florida to receive his degree in animal science. In 1979 he graduated from Auburn University with his degree in Veterinary Medicine. He then became an associate veterinarian and formed a partnership with Dr. R.A. Santa Cruz. Dr. Busciglio interests are internal medicine and dermatology.
Roque Santa Cruz, D.V.M.
(Veterinarian)

Dr. Santa Cruz established Santa Cruz Animal Clinic in 1970. Dr. Santa Cruz is a native to the Tampa Bay Area. He received his BS and MS from the University of Florida,than went on to Auburn University to receive his degree in Veterinary Medicine in the year of 1970.
He has supported the community thru out his career with his time and compassion.
Heather Gramling, D.V.M.
(Veterinarian)

Dr. Gramling was born in Pennsylvania but has lived in Florida for over twenty years. Her interest in veterinary medicine began in her undergraduate studies. She attended Bryn Mawr College where she majored in biology with an emphasis in neurobiology and behavior. After she earned her undergraduate degree, Dr. Gramling attended veterinary school at the University of Florida. After veterinary school, she spent a year of internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Tampa area since 2000. Dr. Gramling shares her home with her husband Chris and their two sons and daughter Porter, Mason and beautiful little Josephine. The Gramling family pets include two dogs, a lovable mutt named Cosmo and a miniature schnauzer named Ada. Dr. Gramling also has a orange cat named Macaroni. Her special interests include internal medicine and ophthalmology. Away from work, she loves to spend time with her family and has photography as a hobby.

Scott Schwarting D.V.M.

Dr. Scott Schwarting is very excited to join the Santa Cruz Animal Clinic staff. A native of Abilene, Kansas, he received both his undergraduate degree and his DVM from Kansas State University in Manhattan. He graduated from veterinary school in 1999. He then joined a mixed animal practice in Bismark, ND. Over time his professional focus turned primarily to small animal medicine, soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. He has also practiced in Rapid City, SD, and was in Livingston, MT prior to his move to Florida. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice, but especially enjoys surgery. He moved to Florida with his dog Hayden, A Labrador Retriever, and his to cats Henry and Stinky Pete. When not working, he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, shooting, hunting and camping.
